AIRLINE TICKETS: Ticket prices vary a lot, but if you purchase soon and stay Saturday night, the cost should be below $300 from almost anywhere in the USA and probably no more than $600 from Europe. Please reserve and get ticket soon as February 16 is a Federal Holiday (Washington's Birthday) and low cost tickets may disappear. Tallahassee is served by Delta Airlines (with most flights via Atlanta) and US Air with most flights via Charlotte, NC. Delta uses only jet airplanes. PURPOSE: 1. PPP1, review where we are for the Pre-prototype construction. 2. Test beam at CERN. 3. Preparation for the NEXT Lehman review. The meeting will be held on Friday and Saturday at the Physics Department (Keen Building) room 503 (5th floor) of Florida State University. The room has video conferencing equipment connected to an ISDN line. We can use this equipment with advance notice. There are plenty of computer terminals and work stations. Please make reservations for the hotels and you need to guarantee if arriving after 6 pm.
