General Comment

As a former Prosecutor, former Member of the New Jersey General Assembly, and
now retired Superior Court Judge of the State of New Jersey, I can see no valid
reason for disallowing the use of a Segway by the disabled. I most respects it
is less obtrusive and cause less hinderance to others as compared to a
wheelchair. In this country we have seen fit to go the extra mile to see to it
that the disabled are not prevented any more than necessary by such disability
from enjoying life to the fullest possible. This certainly applies to the use of
a Segway as much or more than the use of a wheelchair.
