MINUTES OF MAY 4, 1996 DAILY MEETING

FOT Report

S/C nominal.  Still some commanding problems external to the POCC.
On 3 different occassions, lost some telemetry last night.
RSL to do today.  On D-66 there were some major problems yesterday.
There was a monitor that was placed on the line that had a bad card
in it which was causing some problems.  They are also collecting
data to see if this problem occurs more/less during VC4 or VC2
periods.

Instruments present:

MDI - nominal. finished flat-field uploads and performed a dump.
      flat-field upload seems okay.
SUMER - performed JOP012; limb prominences.  did forbidden line study.
CDS - JOP028 streamers looking at +11 +15 West limb.  
      looked at high velocity events
LASCO - has 2 processors out of sync; will examine this with the next
        pass. Has comet images on LASCO home page, which you can get
        to via the SOHO home page.
EIT -- Running synoptic program.  Prominence on the SE limb fading.
UVCS -- nominal.

Also noted that SWAN had some red limits flag on their instrument last
night.. according to FOT this morning the limits are in the green again.
