Bed and veinlets of gypsum in lower part of Embar formation near south end of Sheep Mountain anticline. About 17 feet above the 4 foot layer of gypsum is limestone filled with marine fossils. The veinlets of gypsum are in structure less red shale. Big Horn County, Wyoming. 1915. Plate 63-A in U.S. Geological Survey. Professional paper 98. 1917.
