Fermilab video conference rooms are equipped with video conferencing systems that are registered with the ECS gatekeeper for multipoint (or bridging) capability called Ad- Hoc. Note that the resources on Ad-Hoc are not reserved. The convener of the meeting will create a dial-in number and distribute it or post it.

To send email notifications of your ECS Ad-Hoc meeting

Example of an Ad-Hoc meeting:

All ECS-registered sites wishing to connect will dial 858378 for 85Test. Whereas 85=ECS service prefix and 8378=Test on a phone keypad. ECS prefixes are 82, 85 and 88.

Explanation of ECS Ad-Hoc Services

You may have colleagues that need to connect into your video meetings by telephone:
They may dial into the ECS gateway by dialing
1-510-883-7860.
At the prompt enter the Ad-Hoc meeting ID# followed by the pound sign #.
