C. 20554 DA 04- 3030 September 22, 2004 WIRELESS TELECOMUNICATIONS BUREAU ACTION REGION 30 (NEW YORK - ALBANY) 700 MHz REGIONAL PLANNING COMMITTEE ANNOUNCES FOURTH MEETING The Region 30 (New York - Albany) 700 MHz Public Safety Regional Planning Committee announces that its fourth meeting will be held on Friday, October 22, 2004, in the Onondaga County 911 Center, 3911 Central Avenue, Syracuse, New York. Region 30 encompasses an area defined by the following 31 Counties of New York State: Albany, Broome, Cayuga, Chenango, Clinton, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Green, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Montgomery, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Otsego, Rensselaer, St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Tioga, Tompkins, Warren, and Washington. It is essential that not only public safety, but all government, Native American Tribal, and non- governmental organizations eligible under Section 90.523 of the Commission’s Rules be represented in order to ensure that each agency’s future spectrum needs are considered in the allocation process. Interested parties wishing to participate in the planning for the use of new Public Safety spectrum in the 700 MHz band, or the newly allocated 4.9 GHz band within Region 30 are encouraged to attend.
