I have asthma and at the moment I have broncitis which makes my breathing much worse. I work in a small office and there are a couple of people who pretty much bathe in their perfume. I have a very hard time every day but when I'm sick it's a hundred times worse. I've asked my supervisors numerous times to ask them to not wear so much but it seems that I have no rights at all because they claim that they can not say anything to them. After suffering for a long time they have offered me a small storage room to work in. After 23 years of working there I'm actually thinking about leaving on disability. Do I have any rights in this matter at all? This perfume is toxic to me. Other people have complained also. I'm out of work today because of the effects it had on me while being sick and I'm in jeopardy of losing my job. I am so desperate, I don't know what to do. Please give me any information that you have. Thank you.
