Description/Abstract A simple technique is presented for predicting the harmonic and intermodulation performance of semiconductor laser diodes driven by multisinusoidal current signals.^This technique requires only simple hand calculations for predicting amplitudes of harmonics and intermodulation products of any order and thus avoids the use of accurate circuit models and sophisticated methods of analysis.^8 refs.
