Larissa Bailey
Larissa L. Bailey, USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, Wildlife Biologist. Larissa
received a master’s degree in Biomathematics and Ph.D. in Zoology from North Carolina
State University. Her dissertation work focused on terrestrial salamander communities
in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. She joined the NE ARMI research team and USGS

Evan Grant
Evan H. Campbell Grant, USGS Patuxent Wildlife Research Center, SCEP Biologist. Evan began
working with the NE ARMI research team in March of 2003, just in time for the breeding migration
of the spotted salamanders and the beginning of the field season. Evan assists in the
collection of data during the field season, and summarizes, analyzes, and reports data
collected from the NE ARMI research program for the remainder of the year. He is a PhD
