Speaker Biography: Betsy Lewin wanted to be an artist ever since she was a little girl. She attributes her passion for children's books to her mother, a kindergarten teacher, who read to her and her brother every night. She is now an award-winning children's book illustrator, recipient of the Caldecott Honor for "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type." Her most recent book is "Duck for President." She and her husband, illustrator Ted Lewin, live in Brooklyn, N.Y.
