Focus of project:  students will discover the impact of technological
changes on tasks and people  and apply this learned knowledge

Authentic task/real life problem:  Students will be hired by a textbook
company to predict jobs for the year 2010 which will used in a handbook to
help students prepare for the future; students will have to present learned
information to the textbook company

Depends on technology: internet for research and hyperstudio stack to
present to textbook company

Audience is:  textbook company and student's peers

Timeline: Project lasts for 2-3 weeks in spring. Students spend 40 minutes
each day Additional time may be necessary based upon student interest and
technology skills.
