1. An anti-lock brake system for a trailer hauled by a motor-powered car having a brake command output unit that outputs a brake command, the anti-lock brake system comprising:
(A) a braking force generating unit configured to generate braking force to a plurality of wheels of the trailer, the braking force being generated by a fluid;
(B) an anti-skid valve configured to relax the braking force generated by the braking force generating unit;
(C) a plurality of skid detection units, each configured to one of the plurality of skid detection units configured to detect skid of the wheels to which the respective one of the plurality of skid detection units is installed;
(D) an anti-skid brake system controller configured to output a command instructing relaxation of the braking force to the anti-skid valve on the basis of a signal from the skid detection unit;
(E) a secondary battery configured to provide electric power to the braking force generating unit, the plurality of skid detection units, and the anti-skid brake system controller; and
(F) a generator configured to charge the secondary battery; the generator being installed on at least one of the plurality of wheels and generating power in response to the rotation of the one of the plurality of wheels, the secondary battery being charged by power generated by the generator.
