What:   Application for Standard Design Certification for the U.S. Evolutionary Power Reactor (U.S. EPR), a 4500-MWt pressurized-water reactor.

When:   AREVA Nuclear Power submitted the Standard Design Certification Application on December 11, 2007. The staff of the U.S. Nuclear Reactory Commission (NRC) is currently performing a detailed review of that application.
