The purpose of this synopsis is to notify interested parties of solicitation W91B4M-07-R-0017 for Night Vision Goggles for the Afghan National Army (ANA) Commandos. The solicitation lists the specifications and performance standards required. The items will be purchased for use by the Afghan Government. This is a commercial acquisition, therefore the synopsis is issued in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1), which allows for a shorter period of issuance of the solicitation. The response period for this solicitation is established in accordance with FAR 52.203(b), which allows for a shorter response time for commercial acquisitions.
