The recordings are primarily copies of monitored radio broadcasts by Iva Toguri ("Tokyo Rose"), John David Provoo, and Herbert Erasmus Moy. Records of the U.S. Secret Service (Record Group 87)

This series of 913 images consists of albumen cartes-de-visite and a cabinet card of individuals arrested for counterfeiting by the U.S. Secret Service, ca. 1876 - ca. 1883. Most of the images contain handwritten personal identification information on the reverse sides, including the subject's name, location of arrest, and the name of the photographer. Arrests were made in various states throughout the country. The photographs were taken by commercial photographers in various jurisdictions and apparently channeled to U.S. Secret Service headquarters in the District of Columbia. Although most of the criminals are Caucasian, other races and ethnic backgrounds are represented, including African Americans and Asian Americans. Materials open and processed. This series consists of controlled aerial photographic mosaic prints annotated with area symbols showing land classification determinations. There are six agricultural use or agricultural potential categories ranging from arable to nonarable. Total acreage in each of the six categories is usually computed. Detailed soil analysis is shown by site locations and standard soil profile diagrams that indicate surface use (crop, pasture, fallow) as well as soil type/composition and soil depth. These annotated aerial photographic mosaics are usually at the scale of 1 inch to 800 feet and mounted on hardboard for stability. Materials open and processed. Accession NN3-115-03-001.

Of interest is series 111-DC, which has a wide variety of views of public events, ceremonies, and dignitaries visiting Washington, DC, from the World War I period through the early World War II years. Most of the photographs document U.S. Army events. Photographs of interest in this series include views of a Grand Army of the Republic parade in 1907; the airship Graf Zeppelin flying over the Capitol in October 1928; Secretary of the Navy Josephus Daniels welcoming the crew of the "NC-4" flying boat to Washington in 1919; radio pioneer Guglielmo Marconi arriving in Washington for a visit; Secretary Daniels inspecting the captured German submarine U-117; the 1919 Easter Egg Roll; and the 1934 Cherry Blossom Parade. Papers of Boyden Sparkes, 1911 - 50, Sparkes was a journalist and biographer of prominent Republican business men. He wrote a column for the Saturday Evening Post from 1925 to 1937, and copies of his columns were kept in numerous scrapbooks. In addition, he wrote dozens of short stories for various publications. Some of his noteworthy books include "Life of an American Workman" about Walter Chrysler and a biography of Tom Girdler, the founder of Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. 9 linear feet.
