The mission of this organization is to provide the highest level of training and certification to childbirth educators, labor doulas and postpartum doulas and to provide the public access to these professionals. CAPPA consists of a leadership board, regional representatives, mentors, advisors and its membership. The organization is a membership and certification organization for childbirth professionals such as childbirth educators, labor doulas, postpartum doulas and others.
