Astragalus jejunus var. jejunus
- Similar Species: A. jejunus var. articulatus has whitish flowers, taller stems, and terminal leaflets not continuous with the leafstalk. The Utah endemic A. limnocharis has cream flowers and leafstalks that do not persist after the leaflets are shed.
- Flowering/Fruiting Period: May-July.
- Distribution: N Utah, SE Idaho, SW Wyoming, and NW Colorado; disjunct in E Nevada.
- Habitat: Dry barren ridges and bluffs of shale, sandstone, clay, or cobblestones. Elev. 6000-7100 ft.
