Thank you for your time and commitment to serving our community. I am currently a Board Member for Pueblo Community Health Center, I am also a consumer.


My point of view as a consumer: 
Having a child that need's medication and medical care monthly. I would not know what or where to seek medical care for my child. With out the help of PCHC. With the high cost of medical care, I was faced with paying for private medical care or keeping a roof over my family. I'm personally thankful for having the caring professional staff at PCHC.
Providers can seek employment in a private establishment, but they stay here to serve the uninsured like my self. I am grateful for all of the hard work the center provides on a daily bases.

My point of view as a Board Member: 
This would be detrimental to our community. Tier #2 would eliminate our eligibility for expansion to serve our uninsured in our community.
Pueblo Community Health Center would not be allowed to recruit or maintain providers. Pueblo Colorado now has around 30,000 uninsured Families living right here in our community!


I ask that when you voice you vote that you think for your community, and the uninsured consumer local clinic serve.
