TWO ADDITIONAL PUGLIA DEFENDANTS SENTENCED TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR GUN VIOLATIONS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
GREGORY RHINHART, 25, a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana was sentenced by U. S. District Judge Helen G. Berrigan to a one-hundred and eight (108) month concurrent sentence for stealing firearms from a federal licensed firearms dealer (FFL), receiving, possessing, disposing of stolen firearms; and being a felon in possession of a firearm announced U. S Attorney Jim Letten. In addition to the term of imprisonment, Judge Berrigan imposed a three (3) year concurrent term of supervised release following the term of imprisonment. During the three (3) year term the defendant will be under federal supervision and risks an additional term of imprisonment should he violate any terms of his supervised release.
BRANDON POLK, 23, a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana was sentenced by U. S. District Judge Helen G. Berrigan to a thirty-six (36) month concurrent sentence for stealing firearms from a federal licensed firearms dealer (FFL) and receiving, possessing, and disposing of stolen firearms, announced U. S Attorney Jim Letten. In addition to the term of imprisonment, Judge Berrigan imposed a three (3) year concurrent term of supervised release following the term of imprisonment. During the three (3) year term the defendant will be under federal supervision and risks an additional term of imprisonment should he violate any terms of his supervised release.
