Spring 
           Magic 


     Sprout, little crocus
        Bring on spring-time
     First of the season
        Blossoming Time
     Days getting longer
     Sun's getting stronger
          Under the snow
          Grow, grow, grow 
     Hocus, pocus 
     Crocus!


     Note: Won a prize for children's poetry in Penwomen Magazine, 1983.
           "Written 12/31/1982 upon finding 3 big purple buds on my
           crocus plant".  I have seen this titled "Season of Magic".
