ANNOUNCEMENTS

* RHESSI Major Flare Watch target for today is AR 0069; target
for tomorrow is AR 0069.
* As expected, the roll anomaly flag triggered yesterday after
the offpoint. This will show up in your telemetry.
* EIT offpoint results:

* Submode change is scheduled for 18 UT today.
* Monday's firewall maintenance was postponed due to CONTOUR's
activities.
* SPWG on Friday at 2 p.m. in EAF - Please check the SOHO Calendar
and notify the SOCs of any additions or corrections.

INSTRUMENT STATUS

CDS: Nominal. Extended effects of flares study on AR 0069 and
Major Flare Watch support today and tomorrow. At 14:30 UT
tomorrow CDS will begin the Flare Build-Up and Energy Release
in AR's study.
SUMER: Will turn on at 18 UT today. Star observations will be
performed late tomorrow.
UVCS: Nominal. Following the SOHO Offpoint yesterday UVCS resumed
observations at 20:30 UT with 10 hours of coronal hole study
and a long synoptic. Today UVCS wil do 20 hours of coronal
hole observations and a mini synoptic.
LASCO: Nominal. C2/C3 synoptics, JOP159, Major Flare Watch, and supporting
extended effects of flares study.
EIT: Nominal. 195 CME watch and synoptic, Major Flare Watch support and
extended effects of flares study support.
MDI: Nominal. Full disk magnetograms and dopplergrams in support of
the Major Flare Watch.
TRACE: Supporting extended effects of flares study and Major Flare
Watch on AR 0069.
