processing programs for completeness, its primary purpose is to provide software
developed at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the analysis of data from the
NASA family of airborne and spaceborne imaging spectrometers to users of those

WINVICAR is a collection of approximately 150 programs developed for processing
of image data on the Windows platform. WINVICAR is a derivative of the VICAR
package developed for image processing on the Unix and VAX/VMS platforms. The
programs in the WINVICAR package can be run either at the command prompt or via
a graphical user interface (GUI).
