OVERVIEW
The USAID Privacy Office, in conjunction with its Office of the Inspector General, conducted a PIA of the OIG GSS. The OIG GSS is the interconnected set of information resources under the common management control of, and which provide the common functionality as the local area network (LAN) for the USAID Office of the Inspector General.

The OIG GSS does not collect, maintain, or disseminate personally identifiable information (PII).

The OIG GSS is the OIG LAN, which supports the daily business functions, mission and technology needs of the OIG.

NOTICE OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR CONSENT
Since the OIG GSS does not collect, maintain or disseminate PII, no notice of opportunity for consent is required.
INFORMATION SECURITY
Physical access to the facility is controlled through the use of guards, identifications badges and cipher locks.
Logical access to the OIG GSS is secured by the use of user ids and passwords and restricted access to the desktop workstations from which the system is accessed.
SYSTEM OF RECORDS NOTICE (SORN)
A system of records notice is not required for the OIG GSS since there is no personally identifiable information collected.
