The meeting will include plenary talks, and oral and poster sessions selected from contributed papers. CVAMIA will serve as a forum for researchers involved in all aspects of analysis of medical data obtained from the nano, molecular, and cellular levels through macroscopic and whole-body systems. All accepted papers will be published in a separate volume of proceedings by the Springer publishing house. Twelve-page papers should be submitted electronically through the Workshop website before January 26. Contributions are solicited in (but not limited to) the following areas: Methods: image reconstruction; image restoration; sampling & interpolation; imaging tensor and vector fields; image segmentation; image classification; image registration; atlas-based methods; deformable models; lesion detection; image quality assessment; random field methods; statistical resampling; motion analysis. Applications: gene expression mapping; molecular imaging; image guided surgery and therapy; computer aided diagnosis; functional brain mapping; computational anatomy; cancer imaging; cardiac imaging; brain imaging; dynamic imaging; interventional imaging; functional imaging.
