The homepage has been redesigned to support the Commission's efforts to make all ULS functions more accessible to disabled and visually impaired users. To make it easier for staff and the public to find information, the new homepage layout displays an easy-to-use Site Map that offers users another way to navigate the ULS homepage. The ULS homepage includes 1. Applications Bar (functions that users can perform in ULS) 2. Information Center (public notices, utilities, downloads, and headlines) 3. Support Section (both technical support and licensing and forms support) 1. Applications Bar includes all functions that users can perform in ULS. This bar is colored yellow and is located across the top of the ULS homepage. The Applications Bar contains · Register allows users to register their Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Call Signs. Prior to using ULS to file an application electronically, users must submit a one-time registration of their TIN and a self-assigned password. · File allows users to file their applications in ULS. · Search allows users to search databases for Licenses and Applications. 4. ULS Information Center contains · Weekly Public Notices lists the Public Notices (PNs) that the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau (WTB) releases that affect applications. · Processing Utilities allow users to perform checks required for filing certain applications. · Downloads allow users to download the entire ULS database. · Headlines list the most current PNs. · Rulemakings list all ULS rulemakings. 6. Support Section links users to Technical Support and Licensing and Forms Support for ULS. This area is to the left of the homepage. The Support Section contains · Home is the main screen for the Support Section. · Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) allow users to search FAQs by topic. This allows users to research their questions before calling Technical Support. · Technical Support lists the numbers of two technical support hotlines. · New Users is a screen set up for new users. · Help describes ULS general filing topics and applications procedures. The ASR (Antenna Structure Registration) homepage which users can link to directly from the ULS homepage has also been updated and redesigned.
