Best Paper Award

The best paper award for 2007 was given to Blagojevic, Nikolopoulos, Stamatiakis, and Antonopoulos for their paper on "Dynamic Multigrain Parallelism on the Cell Broadband Engine."

The ACM SIGPLAN 2007  Symposium on Principles and Practice of Parallel Programming will be held in San Jose, CA, March 14-17, 2007. The goal of the PPoPP Symposia is to provide a forum for papers and posters on the principles and foundations of parallel programming, tools and techniques for parallel programming, and experiences in using parallel programming to solve applications problems.

PPoPP'07 will be co-located with CGO'07 at Hotel Valencia in San Jose, CA. See Hotel Information for details about room reservations and the PPoPP conference rate.

Please check the Call for Papers for detailed information on subjects of interest and the submissions page for submission procedures, including electronic submission. Proceedings will be published by ACM Press. Authors of accepted papers and posters will be required to sign the ACM copyright form. Instructions for preparing papers for the proceedings will be emailed to the authors of accepted papers.

Abstract Submission:

September 8, 2006 (6 pm Eastern Daylight Time)

Full Paper Submission:

September 15, 2006 (6 pm Eastern Daylight Time)

Poster Submission: September 15, 2006 (6 pm Eastern Daylight Time; no separate abstract required)

Rebuttal Period:

October 19–20, 2006

Notification of Acceptance:   November 3, 2006

Workshop Submission:

November 6, 2006

Hotel Registration Ends February 19, 2007
Early Registration Ends February 23, 2007

NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED!

Submission Information:

Papers should not exceed 10 pages in standard ACM two-column format, and must be submitted electronically using the submission form available at the submissions page. Submissions must be in PDF format. Poster submissions may not exceed 2 pages. Please see the call for papers for additional information about submission procedures or contact the Program Chair.
