Mechanisms of adaptation in plants and mycorrhizal fungi as influenced by climate change and disturbance; Effects of mycorrhizal fungi on vegetation and soil community structure and function; Ecophysiology of mycorrhizal plants and their fungi; Application of molecular tools to understanding rhizosphere mechanisms. Plant and microbial influences on soil structure; Microbial contributions to carbon accrual in soils; Grassland restoration ecology; Sustainable of biofuel feedstocks.
