Subject:	Bid Increment Change

	
	
At the conclusion of Round 7 today, the smoothing
formula used to calculate minimum acceptable bids 
will be changed as follows:

The variable N (minimum percentage increment) will be changed
from 0.10 to 0.05.

The variable M (maximum percentage increment) will remain the
same at 0.30.

This change will be reflected in the minimum acceptable bids
for Round 8.

As a result of this change, minimum acceptable bids will be 
5% to 30% higher than standing high bids, instead of the 
current range of 10% to 30% higher than standing high bids.
