DRRC Vision
California needs a real-time demand-side infrastructure to respond to supply-side problems. This Demand Response (DR) infrastructure must be compatible with requirements of California's independent system operator and electric utility companies while serving the loads and needs of California's electricity customers.
The PIER Demand Response Research Center will plan and conduct multi-disciplinary research to advance DR in California.
