[To go in sampex/combined/polarcap_avgd_flux directory in RAID]

This directory carries the polarcap-averaged fluxes from many energy/mass 
channels from each of the four instruments; data from each polarcap pass are 
aggregated as monthly files. "Polarcap" is defined as the region poleward of 
the geomagnetic latitudes +/- 70 deg. Typically there will be about 26 polarcap
passages/day.

The format and other documentation are available from FTP sites listed in
the 0readme.txt in sampex/combined directory
