This survey was developed in collaboration between the US Geological Survey-Upper Midwest Environmental Sciences Center (UMESC), the US Fish and Wildlife Service-Aquatic Animal Drug Approval Partnership Program (AADAP) and the United States Department of Agriculture-Agriculture Research Service-Harry K. The survey's purpose is to identify priority external or internal parasites to target in public aquaculture drug development efforts. As fish health professionals, your first-hand knowledge of the principal parasite-related fish health issues at United States public or private aquaculture facilities is invaluable to us. |
The survey is separated into:
0 - no health effects 1 - minor/mild health effects 2 - moderate health effects (requires treatment to meet management/production goals or relieve stress) 3 - severe health effects (requires treatment to improve fish health/reduce mortality) |

If you have questions regarding our drug approval efforts, please contact Mark Gaikowski, UMESC, Jim Bowker, AADAP, or Dave Straus, SNARC, at the addresses below: |
