- This series, created and maintained by the
Networks Division (Code 530) of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center
(GSFC), consists of published copies of GSFC ground networks
tracking station agreements negotiated by Department of State
plenipotentiaries-ambassadors, envoys, extraordinary, and consular
officers-with their counterparts in foreign countries. Each of the
agreements, effected by an exchanged of notes, designated NASA as
the United States Cooperating Agency or representative of the U.S.
Government, and this agency worked with a specified Cooperating
Agency of each participating foreign government for the
establishment and maintenacne of ground stations for satellite
tracking and launch support in conjunction with the Space Network
and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS) program. The series contains
agreements between the United States and the following countries:
Chile, Canada, United Kingdom, Union of South Africa, Nigeria,
Ecuador, and Paraguay.
