To suspend temporarily the duty on 2, (4-chlorophenol)-3-ethyl-2, 5-dihydro-5-oxo-4-pyridazine carboxylic acid, potassium salt.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. BAUCUS introduced the following bill; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Finance

A BILL

To suspend temporarily the duty on 2, (4-chlorophenol)-3-ethyl-2, 5-dihydro-5-oxo-4-pyridazine carboxylic acid, potassium salt.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SEC. XX. 2, (4-CHLOROPHENOL)-3-ETHYL-2, 5-DIHYDRO-5-OXO-4-PYRIDAZINE CARBOXYLIC ACID, POTASSIUM SALT.

    (a) IN GENERAL- Subchapter II of chapter 99 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States is amended by inserting in numerical sequence the following new heading:

    (b) EFFECTIVE DATE- The amendment made by subsection (a) applies to goods entered, or withdrawn from warehouse for consumption, on or after the date that is 15 days after the date of enactment of this Act.
