Biography

Jackie is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff in the Combustion Research Facility at Sandia National Laboratories, and also an adjunct professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford (1989) under the direction of Brian Cantwell. She served as the co-editor of Proceedings of the Combustion Institute , and is a member of the Editorial Advisory Boards of Combustion and Flame and Computational Science and Discovery. She works on the “Terascale High-Fidelity Simulations of Turbulent Combustion with Detailed Chemistry” SciDAC project.
