 Question
Jay Leno's extensive automobile and motorcycle collection includes the Y2K motorcycle powered by a jet engine (350 horsepower & 450 foot-pounds of torque). What's your guess of the city/highway fuel economy for the Y2K?
Answer
4 city /17 highway
Jay Leno's Y2K Motorcycle

Under typical driving conditions, the motorcycle gets 4 mpg in the city and 17 mpg on the highway. The motorcycle's turbine engine was lifted from a Bell Jet Ranger helicopter. Jay says "it burns eight and a half gallons of jet fuel per hour, whether you're running at speed or not." So, the actual fuel economy depends largely on how you spend your hour.
