The 2004 Prospection Workshop, "Current Archeological
Prospection Advances for Non-Destructive Investigations
in the 21st Century," took place May 17-21
at Spiro, Oklahoma.
This year's workshop saw innovations in equipment
and application (prepared both in advance and
on-the-fly), and a great level of participation
by instructors and students alike. Thanks to Spiro
Mounds Archaeological State Park for co-hosting
this event; resources there made great subject
matter for demonstration and data generation.
Steve
De Vore and a still unknown contributor provided
the images below, highlighting some of the people,
technology and innovations of the week.
