Rajeev Kini - Postdoc
Rajeev Kini received his Ph.D. in Physics from University of Nottingham, UK, in 2005, where he worked on the generation of coherent acoustic phonons and developed an electrically pumped terahertz SASER (acoustic analogue of LASER). Later, as a postdoctoral researcher at Virginia Tech, he researched spin dynamics in narrow-gap semiconductors. Dr. Kini's current research at NREL focuses on the optical and electrical properties of isoelectronically doped III-IV semiconductors and their applications to high-efficiency solar cells.
