The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) and the Project Manager, Combat Ammunition Systems will be hosting an Industry Day at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, to provide information on our planned acquisition of artillery and mortar components over the next ten years (see list shown below). The draft Request For Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-08-R-0095 will be available at the following internet address by 19 January 2009: http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/FRPLAP/FRPLAP.aspx . The Industry Day will be held in Building 60, Heritage Hall, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299, on January 29, 2009.

Please note this invitation is open to all interested parties. Attendance of all interested parties, including small businesses, are strongly encouraged. Only two representatives from each firm will be permitted to attend Industry Day. Firms interested in sending representatives to attend Industry Day must register by sending their completed registration form to Ms. Katherine Crompton Silvis at Katherine.Crompton@us.army.mil. To access registration form, go to the following internet address http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/FRPLAP/FRPLAP.aspx. Although this is an unclassified session, all names of representatives will be submitted to security prior to Industry Day.

Visitor Registration: For all visitors representing a US owned company, who are US citizens will be required to submit the visitor registration form provided below, to katherine.crompton@us.army.mill by close of business January 23, 2009.

Visitor Registration: For foreign visitors or US citizens who represent a foreign owned company are required to submit their visitor registration form provided below, to Katherine.crompton@us.army.mil by close of business January 14, 2009.

It is requested that all participants review the draft RFP prior to Industry Day, and submit any specific questions and/or comments regarding the draft RFP via email to the point of contact mentioned above. There will be time allowed on Industry Day for any additional questions and/or comments that may arise. Do not ask any questions that you would feel discloses proprietary information since all questions and answers will be shared with each participant.
