PR-R1-09-10006, Sources Sought and Draft Request for Proposal, (RFP), for Analytical Services. This is not a Solicitation Announcement. The purpose of this Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of the potential qualified sources.

1. The U.S. EPA Region 1 requires analytical services, on an As Required basis, for the Environmental Protection Agency, New England Regional Laboratory, 11 Technology Drive, North Chelmsford, MA. 01863-2431.The contractor shall perform services as required in the Performance Work Statement, (PWS), attachment #4 to the Draft RFP. The applicable NAICS code is 541380 with a size standard of $12 Million.

2. Please review the attached Draft RFP and contact our office if you have the ability to meet these requirements. Also, please provide any comments you may have on the Draft RFP. Your response is requested by C.O.B. 10 February 2009. We are particularly interested in your ability to provide proposed prices for these services for the Base year as well as the 4 additional Optional Periods, for a total of 5 years of performance if all options are exercised. Please do not provide pricing. Pricing will be required when the formal Solicitation is issued during mid - late February 2009.
