 Comments

Comment: Peterson (Zoonomen website, Dec. 2006) comments as follows: Described by Reinhardt in Mitua, which was an 1841 Strickland emendation of Lesson's 1831 Mitu. ICZN (1999) 51.3.1 states "Parentheses are not used when the species-group name was originally combined with an incorrect spelling or an emendation of the generic name..."
