ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
     Please let the SOC's know if anyone has objections to
removing the necessity of SecureID cards to access TSTOLS on the 
FTP site of the SOC machine.

FOT REPORT
    STATUS:
	Spacecraft is nominal.
    GROUND SYSTEM ANOMALY SUMMARY: 
        055/2340 - Degraded data 12 min D46 bad TGC, Good TLM D24,
                   commanding delayed
    S/C Anomaly Summary: 
        055/2358 - CDS watchdog tripped, instrument team came in to reset
    Accomplished Activities:
        RSL, VIRGO, SWAN, CELIAS, acquire new tracking star mag 6.6
    Planned Activities:
        RSL, VIRGO, CEPAC 12 load, New Guide Star (6.6 mag)

INSTRUMENT STATUS:

	CDS:	Nominal. GIS resonant scattering, blinkers  
	SUMER:  Nominal. South pole coronal hole structure, blinkers
	UVCS:	Nominal. white light studies, solitary wave studies
	LASCO:	Nominal. Synoptic
        EIT:    Nominal. Synoptic, high cadence (17 min) full disk 304 study
        MDI:    Nominal. blinkers - hi-res magnetogram+dopplergram every
                   minute, starting tomorrow half-hi-res field magnetogram
                   plus dopplergram+filtergram

SOLAR STATUS:
    High latitude active region is over east limb now, magnetograms show
    this is a new cycle region. Low latitude old cycle AR also on disk.

PLANNED SCIENCE ACTIVITIES:
        Blinkers - short lived (1-2 minute) small (<3 arcmin) brightenings,
              are these related to SUMER explosive events?
