Price cap LECs must submit these short form TRPs in the attached format on April 2, 1999, in support of their proposed access charges effective July 1, 1999 . The TRP described in the present Notice is the short form TRP which seeks information that can be submitted by the LECs without providing their rates. Prior to July 1, 1999, the Common Carrier Bureau will issue another public notice requesting comments on the proposed TRP for the Annual Access Filings, which do include proposed rates. Comments on the format and content of the April 2, TRP may be filed on or before April 16, 1999. Replies may be filed on or before April 27, 1999. TRPs display basic information on access charges in an industry-wide format in the most effective and least burdensome possible method. The Bureau updates the TRPs prior to each required filing of access charges to reflect changes in Commission rules. TRPs are subject to approval by the Office of Management and Budget in accordance with the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act, 44 U.S.C.  3506 et seq. LECs should file TRPs using the Electronic Tariff Filing System on or before April 2, 1999. TRPs should be provided in Lotus 123.wk3 format. In addition to electronic copies, LECs should submit a 3.5 " disk copy to Raj Kannan, Competitive Pricing Division, Common Carrier Bureau, Federal Communications Commission, Fifth Floor, 445 - 12th Street S.W. , Washington, D.C. 20554.
