I think this will be just another NEEDED step to restoring my faith in the markets, which are currently rigged(IMHO). Individual investors, like myself, are probably referred to as the "suckers". At least if my 401K mutual fund had to disclose how they voted, and what their guidelines/policies are maybe we small investors can start exerting some influence. Its very hard to hide tom-foolery when what you do is visible for all to see!
