Technical Abstract: The seed fertility and microsporogenesis in the hybrids of four tetraploid wheat genotypes crossed with a goat-grass accession were analyzed. Preliminary results indicated that the seed fertility and microsporogenesis in the hybrids were highly dependent on their wheat genotypes. Durum wheat `Langdon¿ and Persian wheat PS5 caused chromosome restitution and equational division at the first meiotic division, respectively, resulting in formation of functional unreduced gametes and seed fertility of the intergeneric hybrids.
