Illinois National Guard and Polish Armed Services to Discuss Modernization

Major General William L. Enyart, the Adjutant General of Illinois, and key members of his staff, will visit Poland next week to discuss cooperation between the Illinois National Guard and the Polish Armed Forces. General Enyart will personally meet with the Commanders of the Polish Air Force and Land Forces to brief them on opportunities involving the State Partnership Program. As Poland’s State Partner, the Illinois National Guard is deeply involved in assisting with the modernization of Poland’s Armed Forces. General Enyart will visit several air bases. He will then attend the graduation of a Basic Non-Commissioned Officer Course in Torun. The Illinois Guard is providing much support aimed at assisting Poland’s Land Forces in creation of a professional Non-Commissioned Officers’ Corps.
