You'd better believe they're not They enter national contests and describe every herb in the pot Diarists reveal pet vices, make sure they're locked up tight Never disclose them to anyone but leave keys in plain sight. Anonymous craves to be noticed in spite of concealing the name Indulging in legend clandestine, aspiring to nation-wide fame. A poetess hides in the attic, too shy to appear in print Was there ever a writer of anything who never gave others a hint Of desiring to win all prizes at Conference at Ocean Park, Maine?
