Querying Metadata in ModeShape Repository using Teiid
One of the ways to query the metadata stored in the ModeShape repository is to use the Teiid JDBC driver. The ModeShape
repository can be modeled in JBoss Developer Studio and the VDB can be created to enable data access. This enables the
ModeShape repository to be federated with other datasources and integrated through a single interface to the user.
The complete code for this example is found in the
jboss-as/samples/quickstarts/eds_simple_jdbc_client directory.
The following are prerequisites to executing this example:
JBoss Enterprise Data Services must be installed and running.
A Data Services admin account called admin must be created
with the password of admin. By default, this account is
commented out in the soa-users.properties file.
Running the eds_simple_jdbc_client to view Metadata
If you need metadata loaded, see example for publishing files to the
repository for sequencing.
See simple client example for query execution and use
the interactive mode so that the vdb and query can be specified. Specify ModeShape
as the vdb and an example query to use is select * from nt_base. See the readme.txt file in
eds/modeshape/examples/query_modeshape_using_teiid for additional query examples.
