Assign a Socket Binding Group to a Server on a Host in Domain Mode
This task is almost purely speculative because the console is not yet complete.
You must meet the following conditions before continuing with this task:
Procedure 3. Assign a Socket Binding Group to a Server on a Host in Domain Mode
Login to the Administration Console
Navigate to the Server Configuration
Click on Hosts.
Select the Host you want to configure from the drop-down menu.
Click on Server Configurations.
Expand the "Servers on Host" list.
Click on the Server in the list that you want to assign the Socket Binding Group to.
You are now looking at the Server configuration for the specified Server.
Click the Edit button
Click on the Edit button to start editing the Server.
View the Advanced settings
Click on the "Advanced" disclosure triangle button to view the Advanced settings.
Select the Socket Binding Group
Select the Socket Binding Group you wish to use for this Server from the Socket Binding drop-down menu.
Optional: Set the Port Offset
Optionally you can specify a Port Offset value. This value is applied on this server to the port numbers of the Socket Bindings in the Socket Binding Group. This value can be negative or positive but must be a whole number (an integer).
A Host cannot have more than one Server configured with the same Socket Binding Group and Port Offsets. This is because a network interface can only have one server socket bound to a single port. If the Host has multiple Servers that use the same Socket Binding Group then they must all have different Port Offset values.
Click Save
Click the Save button to save the changes to the Server Group.
The Server Group now has the specified Socket Binding Group assigned to it.
