2. Changing Default Ports There are two ways that an administrator can go about modifying the default ports that JBoss is running on. The first route (and the recommended approach) is to use port injection – covered in the next section. This is recommended as it requires no file modification and leaves your configurations consistent which leads to easier system migrations. The other approach is to modify the configuration files manually. The normal recommendations on port choices and privileged ports still applies – i.e. don’t choose ports under 1024.
