Unregister callback handlers
Callback connections are torn down through a call to the method public void removeListener(InvokerCallbackHandler callbackHandler) throws Throwable; in the org.jboss.remoting.Client class. A Client can unregister only those InvokerCallbackHandlers that it originally registered. It is good practice to eliminate callback connections when they are no longer needed. For example, callback Connectors can, depending on the transport, occupy TCP ports, and CallbackPollers will continue to poll as long as a connection exists.
